DESCRIPTION:Erin Zamoff – “A Simple Reform with the Power to Transform Our Democracy” \nErin Zamoff is Director of Communications and Public Affairs for FairVote Minnesota\, a nonprofit that advocates for election reform. Prior to joining FairVote\, Erin led the Minnesota Chapter of Moms Demand Action\, the largest gun violence prevention organization in the country. In that role\, Erin served as principal spokesperson and media contact\, coordinated legislative strategy\, and organized rallies and other large advocacy events. Her experiences navigating a polarized political landscape fueled her desire to repair partisan divisions and improve access to voting and accountability through elections – outcomes made possible by Ranked Choice Voting. Prior to her nonprofit leadership\, Erin practiced law and provided training on employment laws and practices. A graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law\, Erin is passionate about helping others find their voice to advocate for effective solutions\, whether for an improved workplace\, for a safer community or for a more effective democracy.

RCV does just that. It’s exactly the right time for this reform which gives more power to voters and encourages more women to run and win public office! \nPlease join us for this powerful event with some of the top women leaders in our state.

DESCRIPTION:FairVote Minnesota is thrilled to return to the Minnesota State Fair this year after a hiatus due to Covid-19. The fair is one of our biggest and best opportunities to talk with voters across the state about Ranked Choice Voting and how it strengthens our democracy. \nPlease join us to volunteer at our booth whenever it works for you—August 25 through Labor Day\, September 5! We’ll provide everything you need and onsite training so you’re ready to talk to voters about the power of RCV! \nShifts are each day from 9am – 1pm and 1pm – 5pm. Volunteers will get a free ticket for each day they volunteer.
