- Home rule charter project: Provide information to charter commissions and local groups considering alternative voting systems for their city or sovereign political subdivision.
- State policy project: Monitor, comment, and report on state legislative activity pertaining to the structure
of government and elections, including data collection and analysis, policy development and advocacy, and coalition building.

Election Services
- Demonstration elections. Conduct demonstration ranked-choice voting elections for organizations. Examples include straw polls, demo elections for house parties and events, bake-offs, etc.
- Consultation. Provide advice organizations wanting to use an alternative voting system for internal elections. Services include counsel on the choice of voting system, on writing rules for voting and for counting the vote, and on conducting the election and vote count. An important tool available to our customers is the open-source vote-counting software, ChoicePlus Pro, America's premium software for counting public, corporate, and private association elections using alternative voting systems.
