Letter: Representing the will of the people

To the editor:

Bloomington deserves representation in the Minnesota Legislature that works to make all of us more healthy, safe, and happy.

We need legislators who focus on public safety, including access to physical and mental health care, affordable housing, education, good jobs and a clean environment.

A major concern for me in this election is the threat from voter suppression and challenges to the legitimacy of our elections. As a strong advocate for ranked-choice voting, I support Melissa Wiklund and Alice Mann for Senate and Steve Elkins and Nathan Coulter for House. All four of them have years of dedicated public service and support using ranked-choice voting statewide.

They understand that ranked-choice voting increases participation in elections that truly represent the will of the people.

Please vote for Alice Mann for Senate and Steve Elkins for House in Senate District 50, or Melissa Wiklund for Senate and Nathan Coulter for House in Senate District 51.
